Experimental book featuring Chapter 12 of Frankenstein by Mary Shelley
In this project, I aimed to capture the internal emotions of the monster during his observation of the cottagers. I used handwritten type to highlight the thoughts circling the monster's mind, and incorporated vellum to convey the monster's scope. The vellum conveys a window to how the monster sees the cottagers, and changes in size dependent on his feelings being close or detached.
